Fontanilles
Fontanilles comprises the villages of Fontanilles, as the head of the municipality, and Llabià.
The village of Fontanilles is located on the top of two hills. At the northern end is the Romanesque church of San Martín, and at the top of the south side are the ruins of the old medieval castle, popularly known as "el Castellot". Between the two hills, different farmhouses and manor houses are scattered in a disorderly fashion, giving shape to the village.
Baix Empordà
Ceramics in La Bisbal: The capital of the region, La Bisbal, is popularly known as the capital of ceramics. Highlights include the Aigüeta street, full of shops offering the typical ceramic production of this town, the pottery factories and the Terracotta Museum, dedicated to the tradition of ceramics in this region.
The fishing village of Palamós: The fishing activity of Palamós goes back many centuries. Palamós, in fact, is still the capital of fishing, as it has the most important fishing port in the province of Girona.

Coves and coastal paths: Visitors should not miss a visit to the coves and coastal paths; Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, El Faro de San Sebastián, Tamariu, Sa Tuna, Aiguafreda, Aiguablava, Sa Riera, Isla Roja ... The impressive cliffs and sheltered coves have given their name to the coast of the region, the Costa Brava.
